Scariest Racing Moment
I thought it would be interesting to share code brown moments. It might be a good learning tool.
Mine occurred in my first race weekend. It was at CTMP Mosport in the multi class enduro.
I was running my race in the SPB, as the leading CUP Cars came to lap me at the crest into Turn 2.
Those who know Mosport understand!
I survived, and actually gained a position in the next corner thanks to their handiwork.
Happens at approx 8:45

If we are referring stupid mistakes, here I am downshifting into first at Mid Ohio in front of a bunch of cars. It still amazes me that I did not get hit.

OK Scary Moments first lap, first race, in a 996 Cup have had some moments before and after but none in first race lap in first race with a new to me car, no contact other than me with my God

I was in my 944 SP2 car during a multi class Enduro where they had combined both groups and as i was coming out of 5C i can see the flagger in 6 waving his blue flag frantically ... just as i thought
i was alone on track i look in the mirror and see two Cup cars coming at me , i kept my line and got passed on both sides on the straight just before the flag station.
Scared the crap out of me as they just came out of nowhere !

Not my scariest moment but it would have been a lot scarier if I wouldn't have nocited that the car on my tail through turn 3 at NJMP wasn't there going into turn 4 and lifted a little.

Sean I hope you are doing well, we miss you at Mosport. Your vid brings back memories. My first race weekend was at Mosport driving a 944 Turbo in G class, when the split came for the 2 run groups G ended up with the Cups. I had actually never driven the car or even a 944, on our first practise session the exact same thing happened to me at the top of 2 , all I could think of is what the f_ck am I doing out here....LOL That was 5 years ago and those Cups still come up really fast.

We were thrown right in, multi class racing at Mosport! Traffic at the top of turn 2 is scary!

Up unitl last weeks Nurburgring 24 where in the rain and at night with the Spec Hankook tires in our AMG GT4 racecar (driving a 2hr stint) that had no grip over the michelin rubbered surface, this was my code brown highest moment:

First and last race in a new to me car. P6 and moving up. Probably the only chance I ever had at a podium in SM in the dry. I got pit maneuvered as a result of a mistake by a friend.
