Nice! I love that he still feels the same enthusiasm we all felt our very first time on track!

That color, though. Hmmmmm

Loren Beggs was running 1:21’s a couple weeks ago.

1:21 the new hot lap target...

I’ll settle for a bunch of 1:31’s.

holy moly

I've seen my share of racecars hit similar times and a bit faster, but a 1.21 in a street car is nuts

I got to sit right seat in a GT2RS at MSR Cresson a few weeks ago. It is an unreal car. I have sat right seat in a Porsche CUP car and it felt the same. Crazy how fast a street car is getting for track use.

I just saw this too. Nuts! Now toss some slicks on it.

Also saw Henry Catchpoles review of the car on the street. It’s very impressive how decent the car seems to be as an actual street car.

I think this is faster than his time in the 918, but the Viper ACR and McLaren are right there in the 1:21s too. 700HP!! and 3200lbs on DOTs, I think that would be a walk in the park, don't you ? 150 into turn 8....WOW! only $300k and it's all yours!

FYI, Big Willow is getting re-surfaced in January, so lap times should fall significantly in the new year.

I believe it when I see it. If they do, I will be shocked they are putting money into the track.

I spoke to the front office and they said the big track is closed for most of January because they're resurfacing it. So unless there was some miscommunication, it's happening.
By the way it's incredibly expensive for them to do this. That's a problem with all road courses--great income, but huge maintenance costs.

I'd be happy if they just graded the dirt runoff at T8 and T9. We did a petition to fix that years back and had hundreds of driver signatures. WSIR was silent!
