Man, I gotta take a couple months off from work and do a Cali Coast Track Tour (with a stop at Mid-O and RA on the way out).
Laguna Seca, Button Willow (Springs) Chuckwalla, all of 'em. Looks like I would need about 2 months with at least 2 days at each track.
As long as I did them South to North or Visa Versa, travel time between tracks looks to be relatively minimal.
One of these years.....

Weekday event
Go to the individual track's web site and look up their calendar. I know that Buttonwillow and Willow Springs have calendars. Check out:
Checkered Reack Racing**
Speed District**
**These groups (above) have been known to schedule mid-week track events
Other options, few if any mid-week events
Speed Ventures
NASA (Runs the most organized, and competitive, events anywhere. Offer HPDE !, !! and !!! wager an instructor is mandatory, HPDE IV, run solo. Also have TT and Racing
PCA (Autocross, TT and Racing)
POC (Have Performance Driving Series, all you need is a helmet, Time Trial, need full safety equipment and racing
BMW Club
Simulator, a place to get some invaluable track time without risking your car.
