Default NOR PCA event at Nelson Ledges with 944 Fest

On August 2nd through August 4th is the Northern Ohio Region drivers education event at Nelson Ledges.

On Friday, it is 944 fest, so if you have a 944, then it is the place to be.

The rest of the weekend is a regular DE with NOR. Great time, great instruction.

Nelson Ledges is a great iconic track 2 miles in length (fastest 2 miles). The new owner has repaved the track a year and a half ago. It is in much better condition than it has been in decades. They have also been slowly but surely improving the buildings and facilities as well.

Registration is on ClubRegistration.net

Join us for a great time. Post up here also if you are coming.

Thanks

Ed

Loved driving Nelson but man that track was a pit, even many years ago, glad to hear it's getting some attention

The event is shaping up to be a great one this year. We are having the 944Fest on Friday again and registration for the weekend event is strong - expecting the event to sell out! We will be having a big cookout at the track on Saturday night complete with kegs and plenty of wine!

The new track surface if wickedly fast so come check it out if you have not been since the new owners took over!

Pretty sure its open to all venues, I saw some Beemers, and a LS Mustang... Im having a friend go with me this year and the "Draw" for him is that he has a 944S, and with that he can have fun and be on pace with everyone else. 15 years ago he used to track it at Watkins... But he wont go there anymore because all he does is drive around with his arm out the window while the vettes and 400HP Evo's and GT3's blow by him... That's half the reason I built a dedicated track car so I can be on pace and enjoy the experience of track days without getting run-over by technology...
