PCA Laguna: White Race Group Sunday Race
Here is my video from the White Race Group race on Sunday:
There is some excitement in Turn 2 at the start.
There are a lot of water-cooled cars around my air-cooled GT3 dinosaur and me. But I did manage a 1:32.700 in qualifying on Friday.

Felt really bad for the guy in T2. Awesome track but it looks like there isn't a lot of grip.

Thanks! I had a great time in all three races. It's the first time I have raced with so many of Porsche's water-cooled race cars around me. It's challenging when you only have ~320HP at the crank even if the car and me weighed in at 2270 lbs.

I was out there experimenting with some compressed perspective photos with a 500mm/700mm on the section between 3-4 during your race. I didn’t get many sharp photos but would be glad to share if you pm me. Were you in the green car?

Right back at you and thank you! This was my first PCA Club Race and I have to say it was the most fun I have ever had racing my car. The level of competition was fantastic and the racing was challenging and extremely fun. I am already signed up for Thunderhill!
Thank you to you and all the other volunteers that put on these events!

That's only ~280 HP at the wheels. It's funny until you do the math and discover most of the cars you are racing against have 5.5:1 weight to power ratios while you are at 7:1. Going from 5.5:1 to 7:1 is a 27% increase in pounds per HP. The Cayman GT4 cars are about the same ratio as mine.
My 3.6L is setup to the rules of a different racing organization so it is way down on power compared to what a PCA 3.6L could be. I am fixing that for next year.
