I agree with KR. Park the cars, the private jets, the mobile city caravans etc. and end the hypocrisy. Otherwise, save the "do as we say/not as we do" PC rhetoric - please.

Kimi clearly states that he holds similar views to Hamilton on carbon footprint, Kimi clearly states that it involves everyone of us on the planet and that we should do all we can (I.e., do our part). Kimi just pointed out that speaking about the environment as an F1 driver is tough and somewhat challenging given that they burn a tremendous amount of fuel for no really good reason (to come 1st or 2nd)! Doesn’t that make what Hamilton did more admirable? Taking on a tough topic on the environment as an F1 champion/driver. Interestingly, fellow champion Vettel also shares Hamilton’s views as do most F1 drivers, incl Sergio Perez cited in the article.

Not sure why they don't just say the science is not clear and that they will all be dead before there are any cataclysmic effects even if you believe in science Problem solved.

The fossil fuel topic, including natural gas that is extremely clean and renewable, has not had sufficient real science applied and has way too many $$$ involved in the hype driving all this rhetoric. Color me skeptical all the way to the total melting of the polar caps, if that happens. We have no control over solar flares which may be the largest by far contributor to weather patterns here on the little blue ball.

They could all short-shift and drive in one gear higher, to start. Greta would approve, I'm sure.
