WOW for sure. He's buying the track and IndyCar, which should be good news for the continued improvement in the quality racing.

Just watched the live cast press conference. Nothing of note except that Marshall Pruett was the first non-local journalist to call in. Noticeable in his absence from the press conference was my favorite, Robin Miller. I guess continuously referring to Tony George as the village idiot wasn't a good idea after all.

Penske said something about teams committed to a full schedule, but it was just about the time I had stopped paying attention so didn't get the entire comment. He was generally was non-committal towards questions about changes, though he did make comment about wishing to get F1 to the Speedway, wanting to keep NASCAR there, and the Charlotte Roval would be interesting.
