Honestly, this is the reason that I skip racing. I was there for the PBOC event and then the Dave Murry. I have a '15 Cup, and with a lot of coaching got down to a 2:12.79. Lots of questions about why dont I race... Every time I see a video its has some multi car pile up. I just cant imagine getting totaled as a result of a move like that. Massively unnecessary and unfortunate. Thank goodness sounds like everyone is OK.

Completed my first ever PCA race this weekend down at Sebring in the GTB1 class. Learned a lot and looking forward to doing it again soon! Here is my onboard from the rain sprint on Saturday. Started 16th overall 7th in class and came home in 6th and 2nd in class.

I was at turn one for the race start of Sprint 2 for the cups. This car left pit lane after the start, as it had probably missed the grid. Looks like the driver decided to close the gap to the front cars after turning off his brain. If I remember it right, the car had a rear bumper in primer.

I got swept up at the end of the 7 Cup car debacle. For the whole weekend, all I have to show is less than half a lap of competition. And I got the least damage of all the cars I think. Sucks to have that crap happen. My whole year ruined again. I keep thinking it can't happen again. The definition of stupidity. Never changes.
And the IMSA hero runs from the track and hides his video. Real class act. Never said a word. Hope he gets thrown out for good. Good Riddance. Trying to pass on wet grass.
I'll see how my year goes now. Not sure I want to race anymore. I love Sebring. Just not with the PCA.
I can't win!

Like clockwork.
Such reputation has been around for a longgggg time. The statistical probability of getting taken out in a PCA Cup Car Sebring (and other tracks) race is surely exponentially higher than with any other series/club with the same cars. Absolutely nuts.

PCA rule change proposal:
In order to race a cup car at pca, first you must post a $250,000 deposit, or similar bond, before you take to the track.
If you cause an accident, all monies will be forfeit to pca who will then distribute monies to parties affected by your a$$hole driving.
As most cup car drivers sit around paddock bragging about how rich they are, this shouldn't be a problem.
Of course the consequence will be same jerkoffs will just skip pca. Problem solved.
PS- anyone know if Joe Toussaint has paid Stu yet?

After thinking about Michael Mennella's epic start from pit lane first lap cold tires turn 7 dive bomb thru wet grass multi car crash Saturday in sprint 2 at Sebring PCA 48, the deposit should be $1,000,000 cash or wire, no bonds.
