Lets have some fun... Name your favorite corner and why.
I have pulled out all my hair and worn out my last nerve so I need to start some controversy.
Tell us your favorite corner on any track in the world and why. Pic's , diagrams , expletives all welcome.
Cheers

Corner that I have done: Cork Screw at Laguna Seca. You've got to get your braking right at the top of the hill, blind approach, turn in has to be right and the blind downhill apex. It's really difficult to get it all right lap after lap, but when you do, it feels like the best rollercoaster you've ever been on.
Corner that I haven't done but would like to: Eau Rouge at Spa. Just wondering how fast I can take it without risking me or the car and how steep the incline is. I can't even imagine the rush of that!

China Beach - Madness at Mid Ohio. China Beach is faster than you think it can be and just after you survive that you have to setup and execute a the blind corner of Madness and hope there’s not some sort of drama waiting for you on the other side of the hill. It’s a thing of beauty.

Road Atlanta T6 / Carolina Motorsports Park T8 - I like that you can more speed than you think due to the favorable banking and the added challenge of the uphill braking/turn in.

Of the corners I have driven, I find the corkscrew to be a yawner. I find turns 7 -10 at Sears Point to be "difference makers," especially in an old school 911 with all that weight out back.
I'd love to drive the kink and a few corners at RA. I did an 8-mile charity run there right before I left WI and moved here, but sadly never drove or raced at RA when I had the chance.
I guess my all time favorite is Eau Rouge. I have never driven there, but it makes my heart go pitter pat to watch on TV-- especially cars with aero. I keep some F1 spa stuff on my DVR just to watch some of 'em go through there.
I'd also like to try some of the corners at Mid Ohio-- apparently a very technical track.

Bishop's Bend at Sebring.
In a Cayman, not only do you need to take it flat, you need to see how far you can be flat before the next turn.

MSRH Diamond's Edge either way. Proper line (eyes up), keeping the car balanced, not overcooking it and patience with the throttle is rewarded handsomely. A great way to be all over the mirrors of some 400 HP+ car with only a bit over 200 HP in the straight afterwards.
Even better is 5 cars doing it properly nose to tail at the same time.

Mid Ohio Keyhole!
In the Cayman R and also GT4 it is one of the few corners I can pull away from faster 911s.
It’s like a dance maintaining just enough speed to flirt with the edge of adhesion. It’s a corner where the mid engine balance shines.
Upon exit the faster cars will overtake me, but I smile ear-to-ear mid corner as I pull away from them for a few moments. Extremely satisfying even if for a brief time.
I’ll never be the fastest driver at any track. My favorite corners allow finding the edge of grip where there’s decent run-off and at relatively low speed. Keyhole meets all those requirements.

If you like Eau Rouge, watch this video of Jochen Mass kicking everyone's butt at that corner, repeatedly (in a Porsche, no less).
