Default Ferodo DS3.12 pads shipping Monday

I have purchased all current available Ferodo DS3.12 pads for the 991 GT3and 981 and 718 GT4 that arrived today. Over 1/2 are presold. The remaining pads will probably be gone by the end of the week. I also have the DS3.12 in stock for all other Porsche models ( with the exception of 996 and 997 GT3 which are expected in the next 3 weeks).
I also have these pads in stock for the 991 Cup and 981 and 718 Clubsport. Call with questions for your specific needs plus special pricing. I like to make sure customers get what they need. As most will tell you I like to talk. 843 299 0997.

And even better while he is talking he is boxing up your order and putting on a UPS label.

Clark, not familiar with this compound. How does it differ from the PFC 08/11 combo you set me up with?

PFC was the preferred favorite until maybe 2017 when it switched to Ferodo. Then Ferodo DS3.12 came out early last year it is the new clear favorite.
Ferodo DS3.13 vs PFC 08.......PFC 08 has good initial bite, lasts a long time but is very very hard on the rotors, modulation at best is dodgy,PFC 08 Can be very noisy.. DS3.12
has the best modulation and initial bite, foot pressure on brake medal to stop the car is 60% less than What PFC requires. DS3.12 are rotor friendly, DS3.12 makes little if any noise.
Ferodo DS3.12 vs PFC 11 compound. PFC 11 compound initial bite is OK, it runs hot on the rotors ( not as hot as the 08) and again modulation is dodgy at best, PFC 11 compound can be very very noisy.
The DS3.12 attributes are the same as I outlined above.
I have had hundreds of customers go from PFC to Ferodo DS3.12 and none have gone back to PFC. This tells me a lot. I stock all Porsche pads in both PFC and Ferodo compounds.
i don’t mean to imply that there is anything wrong with PFC just that there is a better option.
The amount of money I make on each is the same. What I am reporting are the facts and the information supplied to me by my customers.
Need advice? Give me a call 843 299 0997.

Rookie question, I have recently moved up to the advanced group, year one did 5-2 day events on factory pads running in beginner D then C group, this year in B group switched to Cayman R factory pads on front and new OEM Porsche pads rear, after 2 events running in advanced my rear pads have maybe 20% and fronts 30%, on my last session down the front straight braking felt off, came off track and when parking car pedal was soft , everything fine once car cooled down, I had been checking pads every session and had a lot of wear on my last session, my car is only about 300hp 2010 Cayman S with Michelin 4S tires very stock, I am thinking of switching to better tires for the track, any advice on a better pads that is still street okay, any help appreciated.

The DS3.12 are very streetable even though Ferodo says track only. All my customers use them on street and track. For your use I would advise DS3.12.
Front pad is frp3051g rear pad is FRp3050G. They are on my website. You have one big advantage over the newer cars.....your caliper backs are open allowing easier pad changes. Call me for special pricing 843 299 0997.

TY Clark. Better than ths DS 1.11 it sounds. If I can get to a track and wear out my current supply we'll replace with recommended. Kudos to you and Linda for all my gear.
its HR at the beach.
Celebrating my oldest graduating and my survival. Stress free for the first time in months but all I can think @ is the track. Truly a sickness

I ran PFC 06, 08, and 11 on my 987.1. I didn't like the 11 and when I bought my GT4 the only PFC pad was the 11 so I tried the Ferodo DS 1.11. I lked the pad and leave it in for the street. I run about 35% track and 65% street and get about 15 track days out of the front pads, more from the rear (No Nannies). I just installed the DS3.12 on the fronts.

Clark, how would you compare these to the Raybestos ST-43 pads I got from you, which I find to have great feel and, so far, durability on the track, but which are very noisy for the street? That said, they work well cold and so are definitely usable on the street, but for the squealing. Thx.

Have had no one go from one to the other. I am guessing performance and modulation is similar between the 2. However the DS3.12 is quiet. I have them both in stock.
