Tell me the easiest way to tie down the front right wheel
For an enclosed Trailex. I usually crawl around the car to access a tie down at the front jack point.

I bought a 5 or 6 foot steel dowel (very small diameter) at HD and bent one end into a hook and the other end into a handle.
I put the ring and strap through the wheel (yes I am stretched out a bit here) and use the hook end of the dowel to pull the ring, and hence the strap, through the wheel to me and then ratchet it down. Easy Peasy.
I was so happy with this, I went and bought 2 more dowels just to have spares. They were $.69/each at The Depot.
Not sure if that's what you're looking for, but that's what I do. So much easier than laying flat and contorting myself into a pretzel trying to get the strap through the wheel on that right side front.
Necessity is the mother of invention I guess.
Hope that helps. If you can't find the dowel, I have an extra you could have.

The previous owner of my Trailex left a convenient sheet of foam padding over in that area. Makes crawling in and out more cushy.

I have the Rennline tie downs and do something similar the dgrobs. I use a broom stick to push the straps under the car just behind the front wheels. I can then get around the car (I only need about 10” of clearance) reach down to grab the strap hook, and then reach under the car to attach it to the Rennline mount. Very easy.

Pardon me, but when I saw the OP's thread title, it popped into my mind they might be asking about a handling problem!

We use chains on lots of cars. Roll all the way forward to where it's easy to get to or put before hand, then hook the chains to the trailer, roll the car back, tie the back down.

Super Cayman has a new owner as of Friday. A really great guy and I am so happy for him.
I expect there will be a more formal announcement from him.
SST was great helping me with the sale.

I have the same trailex covered trailer. I purchased a small door from trailex, cut out and riveted in the door. They sell the door and frame together. True it is crazy hard to reach the right front with tires and a spare and I can’t stand up ....
About $ 700 and a days work. Probably added a grand to the re sale when I’m done with it. The door is the same as the one in the front. Factory identical.
At first I had a rennline jacking plate and I did what you guys are talking about clip in the strap and pull it to the left door and rubber band it up ... all good but after running over it a few times, we’ll you know. As was stated— life is short. Put a door in.

That's exactly what I do. I park my car on the trailer ramp, attach my straps to the rennline brackets, pull them snug, put the other end in the front trunk, and winch in my car. Same procedure but opposite to remove.
