Reminds me of the saying, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it;” however, it is broke. Please fix the bumps. Nostalgia about wanting the bumps there just because they’ve been there forever certainly can attribute to its character, but I would prefer the tracks smooth. Unlikely to happen though.

I’m sure paving the track would be a financial blow. Think of all the auto manufacturers who rent the track to test their cars in this harsh environment. That would all go away. I disagree about it being broke. It’s broke in the same sense as St Peter’s is broke as a cathedral.

Every manufacturer racing team tests there because if it doesn't break there, it won't break...

I'd say it's almost harder to keep a car together after Sebring than through it. Sebring hours count 2 or 3x anywhere else

The lines for the Le Mans start were still there in '77. The concrete wall was installed in '65. Before that there were only hay bales to separate the track from the pits.
