Default Watkins Gen Race

No threads on this race. Where is everyone? The track is open for spectators as per normal The 20th anniversary gift to the drivers is a very nice Port Authority jacket. Four race groups and a two sprint Saturday which started at this race in 2007 and now is the norm. This will be my last race as Chair. Time to step down after 20 years.Lets push Covid behind us and come race at the Glen. One of the top five race tracks in the world, at least in my opinion.

I'll be there Pete....as a volunteer, but nonetheless glad to be there for your swan song event.

There was a separate thread about the enduro format for this year which was addressed as staying with the 60 minute format.

I can't wait for the race, and hope that many more 911Cups will be registered by the time of the event.

Pete,
Has there been a recent change? AER sent out an email from WGI that absolutely no spectators, no one under 18 and crew must be registered ahead with no changes.

For sure family is going to be allowed? Minors included.
a few other race groups have said no minors whatsoever because of track restrictions
Hoping to make my yearly homage with the family

Default The PCA Glen race... Come on!

This has to be the least enthusiasm seen in the last 15 years for this event...

well it’s been a long road for me and finally got my license last year... and no race... sooo looking forward it! For the last 4 races I have been volunteering at the race to sort of “pay it foreward ” so to speak. In doing so have met allot of good people, made some new friends and when I did race last year I already knew a bunch of people despite the fact it was mid-Ohio and summit point. Anyone that is on the path to club racing I would highly recommend volunteering..the club treats their volunteers well! . loved the free ice cream! Although now as I understand it. I might need to bring my own Swedish fish..
