Default Mid-Ohio ClubRace

How will the schedule work with this race event? It looks like there are three events being held at the same time. Will the BMWCCA race share run groups with PCA, or will the PCA clubrace run consolidated RG to be able to co-exist with BMW and the DE sessions?

I know nothing about the schedule, but man I'm super disappointed that the US didn't reciprocate the August 9th date for cross border leisure travel that Canada announced earlier this week. Instead the US decided to continue the ban on fully vax'd Canucks until at least August 21st. There are 4 or 5 of us Canadians reg'd for Mid-O that have to cancel now. Coming up on 2 full seasons of no racing for us Canadians. Fingers crossed now for Road America in September.

The annual PCA race up here at Mosport is typically BMWCCA/PCACR/DE combined and it works well.

Look up Frank Todaro, the event chair:

Had a great time at this event last year and will again this year

This sucks indeed. It's also making the PCA Club Race even more of a disaster... How many cars will there be? 25???

MOR PCA has run multiple race and A-DE group session for many years. The BMW folks are assigned one of 5 or 4 run groups and all the details (INS, race control, T&S, grid, etc.) have been worked out. So can just think of the BMW Race Group as another "Race group". Final car counts / classes will decide if PCA Club Race is running 2 or 1 run groups. Enduros under the same model (separate run groups - BMW race session format is different in duration and cadence). Nothing that unusual for PCA Club Race weekend, other regions have done this in the past at other tracks. A good model to keep PCA and BMW racing at MOSCC.

Specific questions contact Chip H.: club dot race at morpca dot org or Frank T: midohio dot de dot fall at morpca dot org

Looks to be a special weekend with a fun mix of races and advance de'rs having 3-days of MOSCC fun. Still some spots left, come join in the fun.

Well put Kevin.

The border situation with Canada is frustrating and disappointing. This, combined with the struggle to get a good race date from Mid Ohio is making it a challenging year. However, We have a solid weekend planned with plenty of track time for both our DE and Club Racers and we are looking forward to partnering with the BMW CCA. We have a couple draft versions of the schedule - depending on what the final car counts will look like, but as Kevin said, the BMW racers will have their own run group throughout the weekend.

Also, Stupid Fast Tires is providing track-side tire support. You can pre-order tires by calling them at the number below.

^ What Chris said.

Chip, I'm really bummed that the Canuck contingent won't make it... again.

One of my fave tracks in NA and you guys run a great race. We'll be there next year!
