Instructors wanted for Tamworth NH DE event
North Country PCA is hosting a 3 day DE on Friday, Saturday and Sunday September 10-12th. One of your limited chances to get to drive on this fantastic new track in the New Hampshire white mountains near Lake Winnipesaukee. We have limited openings available in all run groups but have a number of novice drivers on a waiting list in need of an instructor. If you can fit this into your schedule for one, two or all three days come on up and experience the way a new track should be built. Sign up on Motorsports.reg or visit our website at NCR-PCA.org

I'm bummed I can't make this event. Fantastic region and event. The track is one of the best in North America and a blast to drive.

The sound limits are enforced by the track. As with most venues with limits these days they will give you an opportunity to correct after first black flag.

I don't want to say that the track doesn't enforce sound limits. However, my car has a race exhaust that's loud and I never get black flagged. Same for other cars that are even louder than mine. I'm a member of the Club Motorsports drivers club and I drive there frequently. For those who haven't driven this track yet, you'll find it to be a fantastic driver's track.

Any details on how the sound is checked (side of car, distance, etc.)? I have a cheap China portable sound meter and could try to reproduce at home track (MidOhio) to see what we generate, but 92 with a no Cat / headers to GT3 exhaust seems not doable to reach 92 even with turn downs.
Also plan on doing LS next spring, but looking at 102 events.

They say 50' from the track surface at random locations. As a data point, I have a 2004 GT3 with headers and no cats hooked up to the stock mufflers (heavy sons a bitches) and have not been flagged for sound (yet) That's 5 events with varying weather and temp conditions

Hi Dennis
We would love to help out instructing at your event, you guys run fantastic events.
Just one issue, call up Biden to have him open up the US border to fully vaccinated Canadians.
We have been missing our American friends and tracks.
Good luck.

Hi Rob, obviously you Canadiens are much more of a threat than the flood of immigrants at the other border. Hope to see our friends from the north next year.
