What a remarkable success story for an American to become a factory driver. People don't remember what a great breakthrough this was.

For so many PCA racers his videos are the reference lap for how to drive a track. What an accomplished driver and glad he is staying involved with PCNA.

I simply wished him good luck while walking past him in the paddock one time at Laguna. He stopped and spoke to me about his car setup and what he was trying to achieve. Unbelievable.

He's been a great Porsche racer and supporter for a long time. I remember him at either the Charlotte or Denver PCA Parades way back when.

Pat gave me my first ride in a Cup car over 10 years ago at Cresson. Been hooked ever since.

Actually, he called Porsche a "dopey company" and insulted the people that sell their cars. I guess Quadcammer thinks he is better than people that are at Porsche and those who work in the dealers that sell Porsche cars. I would call that being a condescending prat.....

As per sales associates (brand ambassadors...HA), its a job that should no longer exist.
Call me condescending or a prat, or both...couldn't care less.
as for Pat Long, he's had a great career, seems to be a genuine guy, and is the type of person that porsche should look to as a spokesperson
