Race Director
Bob made a big positive impression on the members of Rennsport Region, its policies, bylaws, and especially the DE program and its very highly regarded Instructor Training Program.
He awarded me my red bracelet. The fact that his standards and expectations were high made it mean more. He was smooth and he was fast but most importantly he was a solid guy.
I will miss him. Hammer down Bob. Don't lift.

My deepest condolences to Chris and Matt , although i haven't been in the Rennsport DE circle in a while , Bob used to love going for check rides in my
old air cooled 89 911 in my DE days , as compared to all the GT3's that were coming out ... he always told me the the air cooled 911's were real driver cars !
Regards
Phil

Sad news. I didn't know him personally, but always read his posts here on RL. He definitely seems like one of the good guys in the community. RIP Bob
