bought mine mid dec, stil waiting on it but i knew it would take a long time. Hope i get it by mid march for my first event, it not no big deal as im not a race car driver.

They've been on "backorder" on and off since last spring. I haven't received V2.1's since last September, and I've sold more than a thousand in the last seven years.

Supposedly, the current V2.1 and V2.2 GP will be here shortly.

The "new sport" is a 1080p (as opposed to a 720p V2.1 and V2.2 GP) and will be available, per an AiM Sports employee comment on a webinar today, "sometime around the end of the first half of this year."

I learned a long time ago, the only accurate delivery date for most of these products, especially new releases, is when they're in your hand...

Cool lower price and higher quality! I bought one but it has the older 120 lens. It looks too weird for my boxster.

There are component issues on almost everything. They are working on cameras, but no solid date on when they will be here. They were saying March, but I don't think that will happen.

The best info on the SCHD 3 is in the racing guide here. I think the SCHD 3 Sport will be the most popular. The only downside I see with it is the microSD card, but it is required because of the small size. Second to that, I think the Dual will be a big seller.
