Wow that’s hauling the groceries! I didn’t realize the CS cars had that low of a lap time in them.

Stout lap, but like it says, in unrestricted tune. In the high :10’s-low 11’s, IIRC with IMSA GS tune.

Happy to see this is very close to the line I run and teach, except through 17. Bit bumpy inside for my liking so I trade a few tenths for not beating on me or the car.

Maybe they were having setup issue but that’s not very impressive. So this car with a super fast driver is slower then a 15 year old 997 with 100 less horsepower? And light years slower than a 992 cup with the same motor.

Will be interesting to see what IMSA does with their BOP after their performances at Daytona. After they dominated at the Roar they added 55 more lbs but they're still the lightest GT4 car 2987 lbs, 165 lbs lighter than their nearest competitor. The Mustangs, Beemers, and MBZ all over 3250. They'll either add more weight, a larger restrictor (55mm now), or a combination of both or perhaps nothing at all. It's the only GT4 car based on a race engine and that 7 speed PDK. Will be interesting to see.....

RSCS is 250lbs heavier and crank hp delta is more like 60 vs 997 cup 3.8s and 80 vs 3.6s. 992 is ~150lbs lighter and more aero. Seems about right to me.

It’s not as fast I thought unrestricted. It didn’t look that good under braking.

Cool that someone has one, but that’s a really disappointing time for that car.

here is a rennlister doing an 11 in the street 992 on dot tires.

I think people need to DO a time like that, in a car like that, before proffering an opinion.

Sure, we might wish the 718 GT4 CS RS is closer to the 992 GT3 and 992 GT3 Cup, but it looks pretty good.

Let’s see how the car improves with a little rubbing on it. Good run by Skeen and a great run by Joe in his 992 GT3.

Agreed. Once they get the set up dialed....

All the speculation aside, that is a damn nice lap. Nothing to be "disappointed" about.

A 2:09 in anything around Sebring is mobbing, period. Makes me want a GT4 CS even more now.

Awesome lap by Mike S, at least half a second or more he lost in turns 7 and 10, the car has allot more left in clearly.
