Hudson Valley Region Unmuffled DE at Lime Rock, Tuesday, April 12, 2022
Driver's Education event at Lime Rock Park, Tuesday April 12, 2022. This event is open to all Marques with only 55 entries accepted.
Our track day is for Advanced Drivers only (White, Black, Red) and is un-muffled.
We will have two Run groups which will be organized by a variety of factors including driver experience, prior run group assignment(s), and what car is being driven. This is a half day event and we will run from 12 PM to 5 PM. No un-muffled cars are to be started before noon.
So if you have a car that you have not been able to run at Lime Rock because of it's noise level, now is your opportunity to run on this historic track. Track will open at 10:00 am for Tech inspection and Registration.
This a great opportunity to get seat time especially for those drivers with un-muffled car. If you drive at Porsche GT3 or Caymen GT4 you may want to consider this event as those models have been Black Flag at other Lime Rock DE for noise.
Anyone driving the Lime Rock Club race is welcome to attend. There will be no noise police. Test and tune your car weeks before the club race, so you hopefully have time to repair any issues that may arise.

I forgot to mention, any intermediate or advanced driver who wants to bring a coach to this event is welcome to do so. Just make sure that Kevin is aware of it and that the coach registers.

that was your typical LRP event - 45 and raining in the morning and 75 and sunny in the afternoon. great event - very chill region and too much track time. thanks to the organizers.

Always a great event!
Once I got the car sorted from winter upkeep I tried different setups and lines until my tires fell off - I don't think anyone ran every session. Switched back and forth on groups depending where I was on car work. Gave space for the street cars and ran hard with the racers. It was fun!
Hate to start next week's club race without a good shakedown and mental calibration. It's a lot of work to get things rolling for a new season.
I'll be back next year

Needed the event for shakedown, and that was accomplished (including a spin before the left hander... so driver shake down also done).
