That's fine. A bus probably wouldn't handle great at Tremblant.....

Tremblant, Mosport, Road Atlanta, and VIR all have incredible elevation changes.

Do it. Go to Tremblant before you can't.

The town/municipality is being incredibly short-sighted about both the history of the facility and the tourism dollars it brings in. Sigh. Karens indeed.

DriveTeq has an excellent event there Sept 17-18.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions about Tremblant.

It overlaps with Road America. I'm really missing it and trying to figure out another week that would work. The kids miss it too. It's the one track that I think the family likes going to more than me! The kids were mad when we went to Milan (AiM) and Lake Como instead of Tremblant! I still here about it....

That would be a beautiful time of year to go, too. Highly recommended.

Lynne and I enjoyed the pedestrian village. Great food, pretty surroundings and, of course, the Jazz Festival overlapped a few years of the historic races.

I will also add, one other nice thing about LCMT, being up in the mountains, is that even events mid summer, that would be full of oppressive heat and humidity almost anywhere along the Eastern Seaboard, you generally have nights in the high 50s or low 60s and days maybe in the high 70s or low 80s with no where near the kind of dripping humidity you'd suffer elsewhere. That alone is a win in my book.

But as much as I love the place, and I do, Lake Como for the win. Sorry.

Como, Maggiore, Iseo, doesn’t matter. They’re all stunning. Especially if you have a good boat.

The Concordia between Minagio, Bellagio, Como, and all between was great. A true steam powered paddle wheel! The my favorite memories are with the kids at the lido. And Gelataria 54 in Milan.

Open Crankshaft!

A terrific vessel.

What’s the “new car”?

Just a heads-up…I’d come up with a better/quieter solution then just turndowns….We got creative and bolted on a second muffler with turndown to our spec 944….we were barely passing sound 2 years ago and the noise police are even less lenient today. Better safe than sorry!

I’m an instructor for both PCA Rennsport and Quebec BMW Club. The amount of black flags for sound I witnessed in the 2 clubs May events were mind boggling.

That would be this:

2006 Boxster S conversion. It has a muffler. The engine is stock other than headers, exhaust and a tune, and the shop is insisting it should be OK. I haven't measured the sound but I'm a bit concerned. I've already pumped a ton of money into solving some hard pedal braking issues so I'm reluctant to do more until I at least get it on track at LCMT and see. Fingers crossed.

Just a heads up for our ‘merican brothers. For some reason, what passes sound at LRP, DOES NOT @Tremblant.

Some of you may know Al Sorrentino, PCA instructor(black 993 3.8l) from Vermont. The week before our event he was at LRP and was totally fine with sound. Came up to our event and was black flagged twice(4 laps in) on day 1….his event was over…he packed up and headed back home on day 2….NO BUENO!

I’d MacGyver a bolt on solution and have it in the trailer.(a small resonator/muffler) Turndowns did not work for us.

Yeah, this is the problem. LRP is 89 dBA (I think) and LCMT is 92. But it doesn't matter. It all depends on where the microphones are positioned, where the car is on track, even the wind, on any given day. I remember a guy with a Shelby GT350R a few years ago. He ran multiple sessions on Friday, didn't make any changes to his car and suddenly, the following day he was black flagged. It's really a roll of the dice.
