I thought it was interesting they had people drive the base coat to check it out and give feedback. It will be fun to go back in 2023!

Those of us that drive it regularly are *really* hoping they add back some of the visual references on the pavement that we use. I know someone has already requested the white line at T1 that notes turn-in be painted in its same spot. And some want the dip at the top of the hill into T6 to be undisturbed!

Remember driving in the June Sprints in the mid '90's before and after they put in all the concrete barriers (for indycar mainly I believe) and the feel was really weird the first time out. Even though I am now in the SW I consider it our "home" track and will have to go back to check it out.
My son got a "core" from corner 5 so I guess we still own a part of it!
They'd better be done or nearly so as winter will be quickly approaching!

I watched a dump truck back all the way up the carousel. I wonder if they fit under all the overpasses.
The forecast is for good weather all next week, should be good for paving.
