I’d never heard of him, but just watched a couple of his youtube videos including the recent one of his Chin track day at COTA. He should have given you a shout out Dave!

And BTW, that AMG Black series made some very fast cars look not so fast. For instance the GT4 Clubsport he went around like no problem.

That car that he was driving was blindingly fast on the straightaways. Getting behind it, it just disappeared into a yellow dot

Car is a beast, Schmee seems like a good dude and competent track driver.

700+ hp (sub Hellcat weight) really is a different ball of wax. Closing rate on the Supra and GT4 clubsport in the "Fastest Session" portion of the video.

Ran a session behind a 720 last time out, it looked about like that. If using 50% of that car's braking & cornering performance as well, forget about it. Just so much straight line advantage.

I hope that you had a chance to do some name dropping, Dave. If I were you, some where in the first 5 minutes of any coaching session, I would say "... that's an interesting questions about braking zones! When I was having lunch with Jackie Stewart last week, he said..."

Actually, I would probably use it more broadly than that. For example: "... honey, I know how you feel about oral sex...but when I was having lunch with Jackie Stewart last week, he said...."
