Default TA2 Camaro

Not Porsche related, but just picked up a couple year old Howe TA2 Car. It' AWESOME! Got to shake it down for a day at Chuckwalla and had a blast. Attached is my best (and last) lap of the weekend. Felt pretty happy to break below 1:50 with only about an hour total in the car.

I have a growing list of customers racing TA2 cars in various series, other than Tran Am, here and in Australia. For a race car, they're cheap to buy, cheap to run and make a lot of noise. Low tech, no tech big *** spec racer

Absolutely! After a few hours practice, you’d win the DE for sure.

You’d be as quick as most club guys in a 991.2 GT3 Cup, maybe quicker!

They are fast in a totally different way.

Cheap is relative. They are not cheap to run on the edge when you are getting every ounce out of them. To run them for track days would be much cheaper. Heck, we could supply a great club effort with spares out of the parts we take off. The stack of brake pads, rotors, and tires would keep probably two club cars going all year.

Were you there in the rain? Corvette bodies would be TA only. The Mustang could be either.

,Part time, slower drivers/cars turn 2 minute laps at WGI, serious part time amateurs are mid 1:50's Fixed price replacement costs as per TA:
Shock Absorbers - $925 each
Brake Calipers - $550 each
Brake Pads- $250 per axle
Wheels – $175 each
Headers - $1,850 a set
Complete Exhaust System - $2,200
They are big, wide, loud, def not bullet proof.
