Yes, lots of walking but the shuttles take you all over. Grid is open before the race, we usually do that and go up into the grand stands to watch the beginning of the race from different vantage points for the first few hours, then take the shuttle back to the infield.

If yesterday at The Roar was any indication, it is going to be packed with a record crowd.

Thanks for tips!

From what I have been reading as well, it looks like they are expecting possibly record crowd this year. One of the drivers was saying how the Roar crowd looked like a 24 Hour crowd from 10 years ago.

Such great news for motorsport, hope IMSA starts getting its just due. Best live motorsport by a mile imo.

Add Lambo and (maybe) Ferrari to GTP class next year. Killer!

TRG’s Reunion of their overall win in 2023 this year.

Here's a great list of names and cars that ran under The Racers Group banner. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing

Twenty years since they won it overall in a 996 GT3 RS! They have their own big time VIP event going on, the TRG Reunion. No connection, but here's the link. https://www.theracersgroup.com/all-trg-reunion/

That's a great list to read through and a very impressive list of drivers over the years.

And to think I used to autocross against Kevin way back when with the Schonesland region of the PCA! A good friend of mine was his autocross "teacher" when he was starting out. He unfortunately passed away from a brain tumor and Kevin put his name on the car when they ran at Le Mans...

So it looks like we’ll be parking the RV in the Geico West lot (Williamson Blvd gate that brings you to Nascar T1 tunnel, but before you go through the tunnel) spot 343 (turn right through the gate, right again 2 rows)

Heading there tomorrow (Wednesday)

Anyone in the area stop by. We’ll have our 914 with us and be in and out of the PCA corral, but definitely at the rig at night.

My wife and I were part of the TRG crew in 2003. She helped with timing and scoring, I helped with the fire bottle, what a great experience. Kevin is an amazing team owner and has done great things to continuing Porsche's racing legend.
