Default Rolex 24 Hours Daytona

Was just offered VIP tix to this, including Porsche VIP trackside hospitality area/suite for the 3 days.

Worth going? Who’s been?

Yup my thoughts exactly. Gotta convince the wife to go back to Florida 3 days after we get home from Winterfest.

Of course, we actually don’t need to come home at all between the 2 events. Hmmm…

Bring hearing protection, its loud in that bowl. Its an awesome race and that vip pass is just a bonus.

Go, it's a great event. Besides ear protection bring a warm coat, sometimes it gets surprisingly cold at night.

OK looks like we’ll go (or stay?) and check it out. Wife doesn’t need much convincing and I’m almost semi retired, so wtf, well do it.

They change the rules about who they let up and to the grandstands almost every year so not sure if you can do this. If you get the chance late at night climb up to the highest accessible point of the grandstands and take in the view of the whole place. It's almost surreal from up there.

Most definitely, had an amazing time at the 24H, looking forward to doing it again soon.

Schedule just didn't work out this year by a few days for us...

Cheers

Matt

Default Daytona

Just got the invite as well. Last year I took my son to Sebring for the 12 Hour race, this year I’m taking him to Daytona with the Porsche VIP package

I was offered from a vendor. Didn’t know that was the same as the email I deleted…lol.

I think we’re gonna go. Did you guys buy the VIP tickets? How much were they?

Winterfest is over on Sunday so we may just stay in Fla and I’ll tow home after Daytona or I’ll tow home Sunday night and get home Tuesday morning and will fly back down on Thursday.

Man that’s gonna be a busy 2 weeks.

How much were the Porsche VIP tickets? Thanks
