CLASH 2023
The Clash 2023 will be held on June 16-18, 2023. The misconception that this event was cancelled is WRONG. What got cancelled was the Zone 48 Hours DE because its weekend was taken by HSR. Since HSR was purchased by NASCAR and NASCAR owns Watkins Glen..so they have preference. So the Zone One 48 Hours starting in 1975 has come to and end after 48 consecutive years..SAD..

It's sad to hear the 48 Hrs DE is done. That was such an event and a memory for so many poeple.
BUT, you're maybe the Tremper legacy of the Zone 1 Club Race will live for 50 years! I hope you and Bettye are doing well

No Zone 1. Sucks...and sad.

Pretty sure I was at the first Zone 1 event in '75 (as a kid). And many after it as a spectator and later as a driver. Damn.

The 48 Hours was my first DE back in 1998. My dad (he DE'd too) drove my 1983 911cabriolet 500 miles to the Glen on all season tires. Swapped in and out of the car all weekend (it was HOT!) and giggled like shool girls the whole way back to southern Ohio. Car never missed a beat. That weekend is a memory I will never forget.
