Jumping back in here for a clarification: the warning above is part of the email you get from Hoosier tire every time you buy a set. The quotes didn’t stick. That’s from the manufacturer that knows their tires better than anyone else. And before you go down the rabbit hole about just wanting to sell tires, if Hoosier had a tire that didn’t degrade on a shelf they would sell a crapload more tires, the shelf life is always a consideration. All manufactures have similar warnings. As mentioned above all it takes is doing your own homework…
