Shouldn’t that read:

Two factors to think of here…butt needs to fit the seat…seat needs to fit in the car. Big guy in a GT4 here and have height/width challenges…biggest seat that fits both for me was the Racetech 4119 WT wide/tall and required minimal adjustments using GMG mounts. OMP/Corbeau could be choices but won’t fit a Cayman and could be a challenge in many Porsches unless they are stripped. My experience is driver side and tubs may have different configurations for
passenger side. Racetech was exceptional to deal with.

I'm 6'8" and 280. As a few others have said, Racetech wide and tall for the win. It was the only containment seat where the wings and the harness holes worked for my size. They are a PCA club racing sponsor too

I have a Sparco Evo XL QRT I bought in April 2022 - mounted it and it was way too big for me (6.2 205lb). If you decide you want that model seat - I would sell it for a good price.

Would love to take you up on the offer but I've wanted to buy a seat that needed to be shipped before and the shipping cost came out to ~$350 for California to Chicago. This would probably be equally prohibitive. Though I did have the option to ask my brother in law to see if he can get a cheaper quote through his company's shipping account.

I had 2 pole position seats shipped grayhound from AZ to DE for $60. Ups is not your only option.

Wow thanks I honestly didn't know that was an option but I was trying to find other shipping methods, and that didn't come up on Google haha.

Well apparently grayhound is no longer an option. I searched and found this:

As of September 30, 2022, Greyhound ceased package shipping operations. If you need to ship large items, use uShip.
I had gotten a quote for the seat with uShip and that was double the cost of UPS at only $600..

You are better off buying new from Summit with free shipping.

Well that sucks. Try foward air ltl or yellow ltl but they will probably be at least $300. U need to find someone with a shipping account. U know a manufacture is not paying $300 a seat to ship a new one.

Tough for us big guys to get in and out of these tony cars but for me getting out is always the worst. It's not pretty.

I always hear David Attenborough's voice as I get out saying something like "the baby rhinoceros struggles to emerge from the mother's womb, and with one final push the ungainly beast unceremoniously lands on the ground, shaking as he rises for the first time on his stout legs."

If I drove a Corvette the term "tony" would be correct, but I meant tiny.

You may also want to look at the Sparco Pilot especially if your father is tall.
It's wide, has a halo, and high shoulder slots for tall people using a hans. I think similar width to the Evo XL.
