I certainly hope they put a stout rear bumper on the Camaro.
Jenson commented on having to brake much earlier than in a prototype. I have a feeling the Camaro's early braking will surprise one of the less-experienced prototype or GTE drivers, resulting in contact.
With that said, this will be cool to watch...

An hour in and it is the 24 Hours of Hypercar. I know they always highlight the prototypes but there has been almost zero coverage of GT cars.

At the rate they are going there won't be many of the hypercars left running and they will have to cover the other classes.

I don't have great coverage where I'm at - watching in Portuguese and my Brazilian GF isn't translating all the time.
Can someone characterize how the nascar car is doing?

I have watched Le Mans for more years than I care to count and I can never remember such a complete and total lack of coverage for the GT cars. I like watching the prototypes, and understand that they are leading the race, but there is almost zero coverage of any car but the top ten, except when someone crashes.

I gave up watching the parade on MT TV. Slow zones, safety car hopscotch, and over eager hypercar drivers. Then they pulled all of the live feeds off of YouTube so that’s not an option. I never did figure out how the G56 entry was doing vs the other classes.
I’m not a NASCAR racing fan, but I’ve run with some similar cars that have been prepped for road racing. They can be potent weapons, and I was interested to see how it held up against the “more sophisticated” euro hardware.

There are still live feeds. Brazilians speak Portuguese btw. I know what you meant. Regrettably, she has pneumonia. YT channel I am on is just as bad - global feed. The rain has been a nice feature otherwise I would give up. They have been stuck on the lmp2 standings/readout now for a few minutes

I did not realize that Brazilians' speak Portuguese either, so now I am forewarned. Hope your GF feels better - I ignored pheumonia about ten years ago and almost wound up in the hospital. It is no joke if you don't take care of yourself.
I expect everyone to speak American.

Getting some in car now of the NASCAR but still no clue how it is doing compared to others.
