Default The Brad Pitt F1 movie is already filming
I hope it's not a dud. The director also did Top Gun: Maverick, so I have hope.

They were filming at Silverstone this past weekend:

I hope it's good too. Ironic that both Top Gun and this F1 movie are featuring 60 year old actors as leads for fighter pilots and F1 drivers.

It looks sort of like a bubble gum type movie but I am hoping I am wrong. Rush, and Ford vs Ferrari, were at least entertaining, and good motorsports movies, if you ignored a lot of the inaccuracies. I'm just thinking this is going to be a bubble gum movie and not very serious.

Seems they will be filming at COTA also. Chin had their fall event canceled and said on their schedule it was due to filming after F1.

The rumor in the F1 paddock this weekend was that Dave will be in the movie but will be the "Angela" to Brad's "Lewis".

Days of thunder is awesome. To this day I don't know wtf he was talking about when he said he came from open wheel, mostly sprints.

I loved Bardem in "No country for old men" but wonder about him in this movie... thinking back to what was probably the worst movie ever made, at least they didn't put him in a wheelchair like the bandit...

My understanding is Dave indeed has a cameo in the movie. During a pace lap, he's passing cars left and right, yelling "I WAS SEVENTH!!!!"
