Default In car Communications with instructors- Stilo helmet

I have a Stilo helmet with built in communications. I believe the female plug on the Stilo helmet is 1/4"(6.35mm), and I'm trying to make sure that i can connect to whatever system my instructor uses.
- are the 2 prevalent systems Chatterbox and Trac-com?
- it looks like Chatterbox uses a 3.5mm plug what type of adapter would i need to get from my Stilo to the Trac-com?

If there's anything I'm overlooking here, I'm all ears

You'll need a Track com cable to connect with a Stilo IMSA cable.

No affiliation with either vendor - just showing the product. Depending where you are in Ohio, try calling Tim at Track First in Akron.

Trac-Com sells a Stilo-specific adapter cable that plugs right into your helmet

I use Stilo comms with a Trac-Com. The students sometimes can't hear me. I think the Stilo mic isn't very good. Keeping visor snapped closed helps a little.

The mic in the stilo helmet may need positioned closer to your mouth. The cheek pads pop out and the chin pad is velcroed in. You can remove it, gently push the mic out of the liner a little more.
