2024 PCA Club Racing Schedule
Unofficial schedule is up:
Schedule | PCA Club Racing
COTA seems to be on the schedule but not mid-Ohio.

Anyone know the story with the Mid-O race planning? That’s probably the track I was looking forward to the most for next year.

Recent past Mid-Ohio dates (from the track) were not getting the PCA CR attendance to make it a workable plan of the region. For example, in '23 one of the "shifted" dates the track gave the region was Labor Day weekend...
Similar dates on offer this year from the track to the region in '24, make the prospect of hosting a CR on those region dates just as unprofitable / not feasible.
The region is looking at alternatives, but too early in the process to share any details (thus no schedule entry for Mid-Ohio). Lots of moving parts to see if a partnership with another date holder is possible.
And yet there is the new pavement on the track in '24, with lots of car model / class / lap times to be reset...
And did the bump out of the Carousel remain?
Stay tuned...

I really hope they can find a workable date for Mid O, especially after the resurface - but I understand how hard that can be. May and July don't have any conflicts with the PCA schedule for racers in the East; fingers crossed they can come up with something!

There have actually been two ECR dates on the calendar for the past several years. Great events with great racing and they are always well attended.

It would be great if this race could still happen in 2024. The new track surface would be a big draw.

Looks like some good spacing between events as well, with the exception of Hastings and ERC #1, but doable.

I've only ever raced at PCA Club races that are 3 day events...how is a two day event typically scheduled? 2 practices, qually, and 1st race on Saturday?? Fingers crossed for a track day with one of the track day peeps the Friday before the race.

The other weekends (like ECR, Sonoma) have one Sprint race right after qualifying on the first day and then a Sprint and Enduro Race on Sunday.

On another note, is anyone else moving into the ME1 class? I'm going to run in this new class instead of Stock E next year for 2 primary reasons...
1. I accidentally have the correct suspension.
2. I have to carry max fuel and max ballast (and maybe even more than max) to make weight in E class. The weight reduction from 2929lbs to 2750lbs will allow me to shed all this excess weight and fuel.
Just curious if I'm going to be all alone in this class next year?
