A littler disappointed to see only 12 944s registered at this point. Was hoping for more of a showing.

Sending one last shout out for Racers and DE drivers to come to VIR next weekend -b 22-24MAR24. If you're waiting to check the weather the forecast is temps in low 60's and sunshine!
The car count is low. In fact, it's the lowest I've seen in my 15 years being involvement with management of the VIR PCA Club Race. It's 30 fewer racers than just last year.
I realize, or course, that with race in five days most decisions have been made but we could realize use a bigger crowed in the paddock!

Unfortunately the VIR Club Race is not the only event with shrinking car counts. PCA Racing across the country has been gradually shrinking for years. The question iis what is PCA National doing to make racing in PCA more appealing and easier.

I think Friday will be mostly dry, Sunday, too.

Having been on site every month for twenty-five years, I can tell you that I don't trust any forecast for this place...

I hope this doesn't count as the "announcer's curse"!

I am really looking forward to this race and hoping I have a good weekend with the 911CUP.

His secret is out - put on rain tires when it's raining.

Please keep channeling Ferrari F1 when you make your tire choices and I stand a better chance to stand on the podium!

Looks like rain arrival has been delayed on Friday until end of the day. Most rain on Saturday from 3 AM until 9 AM, tapering off late morning. Sunday, sunny and pleasant.

70 and sunny today.
