Hudson Valley Region, PCA is hosting its annual un-muffled DE at Lime Rock Tuesday, April 9, 2024. Sponsored by On Track Insurance. This event is open to all Marques with only 55 entries accepted.
Our track day is for Advanced Drivers only (White, Black, Red) and is un-muffled.
We will have two Run groups which will be organized by a variety of factors including driver experience, prior run group assignment(s), and what car is being driven. This is a half day event and we will run from 12 PM to 5 PM. Drivers can expect 2.5 hours of Track time. No un-muffled cars are to be started before noon.
So if you have a car that you have not been able to run at Lime Rock because of its noise level, now is your opportunity to run on this historic track. Track will open at 10:00 am for Tech inspection and Registration.
This is a great opportunity to get seat time especially for those drivers who are participating in the Club Race April 20th with un-muffled car. If you drive at Porsche GT3 or Caymen GT4 you may want to consider this event as those models have been Black Flag at other Lime Rock DE for noise. Steve Katz from On Track Insurance has offered to host a social at his “Track House/Man Cave” located in Sharon Ct. after our Lime Rock Event on April 9, 2024. The menu will consist of Beer/Wine, appetizers and Pizza. The best part is it’s free to all participants including guests that attend our LRP event courtesy of Steve. Social starts at 5:30 (on track activities ends at 5:00) and ends at 7:30.

Its a great afternoon tons of track time relaxed atmosphere. I will be there and highly recommend the event

Plus be HVR PCA and my guest for the After Party over at my house/garage a couple of miles away in Sharon Ct . Some great food and drinks

I don't want to jinx things, but the weather forecast for April 9 looks to be Sunny and 60 degrees. There's still time to register for HVR.

I fly home Monday and hope to do my first HVR DE on Tuesday. I did TOT the track with them in 2019 and that definitely got me hooked.

For those who attended, and maybe got a bit wet at the Metro PCA event today at Lime Rock, there's still time to register with HVR for next Tuesday afternoon. As of now, the forecast looks a bit better than what we experienced today.
