Default FS: 951 V8 track car (street legal)

Hi everyone, it's the end of an era for me. After 17 years of ownership and quite a bit of evolution, I'm selling my '86 951 with an LS2 in it. It's primarily been a track car / hooligan vehicle these past many years.

Been a while since I was here, so I hope I'm not breaching etiquette by posting my FS ad here. My apologies if so.

Click here for the ad; please direct any questions about the car to either DM or the Marketplace posting. I'll do my best to respond expeditiously! Like I said in the post, I'd rather see the car go to a good home rather than a quick sale.

I had the chance to drive this car just after he had the V8 installed. A ton of fun, and he's improved upon it since then.

Honest seller and a fun car...

It would be fun to line up on pit road and have the driver behind think "it's only a 944 I'll pass it in the first corner"!

Good luck with the sale!

Hey Jerome, good to see you! Been a long time -- I miss the NoVA crew. Thanks for the nice words.

Thanks! I'm pleased to report that the car can definitely get out of its own way...but there ain't no way I'm keeping up with a well-driven 992 GT3 in Red group. It's insane how fast new cars are nowadays.

I can also testify to the nature of the seller. Great guy and the last time I saw the car it was frustratingly quick.

This is such a nice car! Got a few rides in back in the day. How's Hotlanta Collin?

My 17 year old totally wants this car.

OMG KJ great to see you man! Hope you and the family have been well; I'm sure you guys are starting to ramp up -- don't get too busy now.

Mark, what's up! I was just buying some stuff from OG, as a matter of fact. ATL has been treating us very well, I'm happy to say! Miss the Potomac crew, that's for sure.

Just dropped price to reflect other platforms I've listed on.

Oh man! Sorry I missed you! You need to make a trip to Summit or VIR.

Collin,
Good luck with the sale. You probably don't remember me but you were my first instructor at Summit (I had done 2 events at VIR at that point) and I just recall having the best time that weekend. Your wife and I were both in Green group, I was in a black 997.1 S. Hope you are well and I have told anyone that would listen that you were one of the best instructors I ever had. Hope your dog is still with you as well!!

Anthony Thomas
