Organizing the garage ….

These are Ferodo 3.12s with 6 track days on them . Think they are good for another 4 days ? ( Summit Point Main ) .

The way you drove last season, 2 three day events.

The way you’re gonna drive this season, 1 three day event and change mid 2nd event.

The way you’re gonna drive this season with me in your right seat, 2-3 days total.

Remember, they go from 50% to 0% much faster than they go from 100% to 50%.

They appear to already be about half worn? If so they don’t have much left and I’d be surprised if you got more than two more days out of them. The thinner they become, the hotter they get, which makes them less effective and transfer more heat to the fluid, so you can’t run them until there’s only 10% material left (at least not effectively).

Another vote for likely needing a change sometime mid - to late event. As above, the second half of the width disappears much quicker than the first doe to increased heat transfer from the backing plate.

If those are six days old, an educated guess is that they'll be good for days 1 and 2, sketchy for day 3 and probably not make 4.
A fair bit of hard braking at SPM (end of straight, into 5, into 10). Bring another set with you would be my 2 cents. Can always swap in between days or at lunch. Usually someone willing to help if you're not a DIY guy.

Option B: start the season with fresh pads and put these in your box as your spares. In fact, this is Option A since your pix show these already out of the car presumably for winter street pads.

And of course, a prime consideration in life is risk/benefit. Squeezing and extra session or two out of pads at EOL saves you maybe 25 bucks. Car and health much more valuable. Also nice not to have equipment thoughts in the back of your head while on track.

Those look like fronts? What’s the remaining pad depth at its thinnest edge?

Run them until they're down to the thickness of the backing plate, maybe a touch less.

Or until you don't stop anymore.

Yep the plan is to keep these as spares , my next event is in April , 3 days with Potomac at VIR . The brand new 3.12s are going in for that. I do run 2500s in the "down season" and swap in the track pads for track season.

I have also swapped pads in the paddock before several times ... usually on other people's cars , as you are most correct, there is always a guy that's willing to help

I would put new pads on and keep these in the track tote as an emergency set. As others have said, they will wear faster the rest of the way due to less material to dissipate the heat.
