If you're considering Road America, heavily consider the PCA Labor Day weekend. Outside of the obvious fun to be had on track, there is a police escorted parade into town where all the cars park in front of Siebkens for a large PCA dinner party. There is no shortage of good food and entertainment in Elkhart Lake in addition to it being such an epic track. For those reasons, you can even bring the family up and they will be sufficiently entertained while you're doing the track stuff.

If you chose Watkins Glen (I would), you might consider PCA Niagara Region and Trackmasters. Both host 4 events a season. PCAN is a fairly traditional PCA DE format and Trackmasters is a more relaxed, lower car count format geared toward more experienced drivers. Trackmasters tends to sell out quickly so, if TM looks interesting I would go to their website ASAP and check it out.

It's like buying a gun. When you are trying to decide between two of them, you ultimately ending up buying both. The three tracks you mentioned are the same, just plan on driving all three (definitely throw VIR into the mix, too). Whether you have to plan on one per year, or cram it all into one summer, I'd just plan on making all of them happen. For the milestone birthday, I'd consider Road America or WGI just based on the after-track festivities and periphery fun to be had. Not to knock Road Atlanta, but a lot of folks are local and head home to their families each night instead of having more restaurants/nightlife like Elkhart Lake and Watkins Glen. A birthday bier at Siebkens or Seneca Lodge will be a good one or twelve, I can guarantee you that....

I have a milestone birthday this summer and am planning a road trip/track trip. Most of my HPDE experience is at MidOhio and I would like to broaden my exposure to include other venues. I am equidistant from the tracks mentioned in the title and would like some experienced drivers' opinions on the fun/excitement/technical challenges in deciding which track(s) to check off my bucket list. I run in the advanced group with my local PCA (MidOhio region) but am by no means the fastest driver. The car is an unmodified 2023 Carrera T which has proven itself a capable performer . Any and all opinions are requested. Thanks!

Go to the WGI website and find the track rental schedule and you can probably string together a couple, or a few events if you like.
there are wineries on multiple lakes (not amazing but fun if you like that kind of thing). Corning museum is amazing. Ithaca is about 40 minutes away with a huge and popular farmers market right on the lake inlet on the weekend. Taughannock state park has the highest waterfall on the east coast. There are also great hikes and fun swimming in both Buttermilk and Treman state parks (if you have two cars you can park one at upper treman and then walk the gorge trail one way) outside of Ithaca. Tons of good eating in the town, Trumansburg, and Ithaca. At the track don’t forget to check out the roadside PriseBox BBQ if it’s open, right down the hill.
