Big change to the WGI bus stop!

I was there this weekend and can gladly report that they're not nearly as bad as they look. The lower/outer part feels smoother than it did before (less rumbly). The inside section can be a little rough, but when taken with good speed, you can hop the right side of the car right over it. The only time it felt pretty harsh was when taking it slower than normal, like when coming in off-line after a pass on the inside.

Video of the new setup looks ok. Less potentially injurious than in the past.

While the pictures look crazy, this video makes it look not too bad. It looks less violent than the rumble it replaced which begs the question - what are they trying to accomplish?
Was the goal to keep cars more settled going in?

Looks like, as mentioned earlier in this thread, a much earlier turn in to 5a and a much straighter line to 5b and an easier rotation into 5c and out of the complex.
Me thinks PB's are gonna be abundant....

Was the consensus that you can fully drive over it? Those two turtles look like they stick up enough to do some undercarriage damage but its hard to tell.

Interesting, feedback I'm hearing is people in DE or racing couldn't go over it and had to take a wider line than before. The GTS3 (mostly E46's with aero) guys were not able to get over it, although I don't know how much experimentation was done. Maybe people just need to get used to it and we will see everyone effectively ignoring it and straight lining the entry like before.
