They don’t. This car was modified beyond GT3 spec for this attempt. Great VBOX scene! Great driving!

Goddamn... I thought I had some pretty great video from being at VIR last weekend and my driving, but it would be embarrassing to post up after watching this. The driver is just an alien.
Yes - Its the brake release thats the thing that jumps out ! That and commitment to get back to full throttle as quick as possible.
I also love how he's such in the mode that he has the very pronounced flick of the gears going up like he's waiting for the reves to get up and wants to just bang the next one. So so confident and ahead of the car... and driving smoothly and easily.
Some day.... maybe.
