I am going with COM (www.comscc.org) on May 3-4 (full course). They are a nice group of folks although there is no mandatory pre-tech.

The North and Full Courses are amazing too. Worth the day, but its easy to get stuck with traffic in a regular point-by DE format.

NASA/ PDA has come along way. We are very safety concerned and will not allow any cars on track that we feel are unsafe. We check more things on our tech line than many other clubs since we are inspecting many different types of automobiles. If you can't check your own lug nut Torque you should not be at a DE event. Check for the loose nut behind the wheel. The CVR events are on the Long Course at Monticello Motor Club. Opps- I didn't realize this was a 2 year old thread. Up to date now !!
