I can absolutely state this is a fantastic car for anybody that wants a track beast or a great GTB car. Terry maintains his car with NO EXPENSE spared and it is in tip top shape. He has recently joined the ranks of the same race shop I have been with for some time now.....3G Motorsports in Greensboro, NC. Greg (the owner) is absolutely the person you want working on your car.
Had I not just spent a wad of cash on a G stock RSA for racing I would have just bought his car. I actually talked to Terry this morning and told him that I had narrowed my choices to G and GTB a couple months ago when I decided to go club racing and had his car been available then I would have probably gone that way.
Best of luck with the sale Terry!

I was there when this car was delivered to the owner from Canada. When you add just the parts and wheels to the car with the already installed brand new 3.6L engine $72K is unreal. The car is excellent and has been maintained and treated like an adult! I hope the car goes to a good home!

First, I know this is a race car and the driving experience would be much different - but just curious how this car would roughly compare to a more or less street 996 GT3( running rcomps) in capability. I've seen times (Dell and others) around 203-205 for a well driven GT3....Koni car?
Also, what is the weight of a 996 Koni car?
BTW, the car looks great and seems like a great price.

Times at VIR with pro are 2:04. Remember Koni rules say take a production car and turn it into a race car
within the guideline and rules(ie no engine mods ). This is not a cup car but runs slightly slower than a GT3.

How about a deal for an awsome green/purple track car GTS1/GT6 (major HP)...I'll throw in spares, an 86 944 turbo (bone stock), the Weissach SC you always wanted to own again, a 17 hp John Deere lawn tractor ....and let me see........$287.34 cash money. Whaddayasay?? Or it is Matt's birthday tomorrow....
Guys, if you are looking for one the cleanest, well set up 996s you could hope to find, look no farther. This is your car.

Ted,
tell Matt my birthday was wednesday and I think I'm only ten years older, maybe twenty, okay thirty. As much as I'd like to see him in it, my wife says politely says NFW! Hope to see you soon.
