An Interscope 935 is for sale, I would vintage race that.

And run an RSR in ALMS with F-L, with Dirk as co-drover

Great post on the to-do list for summer time family fun:

Prevost coach with stacker behind holding 997 RSR and estate to haul the wifey, kids and dog around.

IMSA Lite West looks very appealing re: cost, performance, reliability, but my heart is still with F-Atlantic.

Brand new cup, and a spare cup... and a pro to be my "wing man" and my full time coach. Plus put together my own pro endurance team, surrounded with all pros, and buy a 24 hour Rolex... ala RJ Valentine

RSR Cup Car and a (real) 911R...can there be a dream wetter than that for P-car lovers?

No question, no doubt, no hesitation whatsoever. I could never hope to drive it anywhere near its limits, but this very car would be in my (huge) garage.
I've seen lots of cars, but nothing compares to this one for me. Note the greasy hands, which may have something to do with it...

+1. Exactly what I was thinking, except the only choice for the rally car would be the Audi.

So, for me, now at my advanced age (46) I'd say I'm only good enough for a lower end sports racer like IMSA Lites. Maybe (shudder the thought) a DP. But only because I know there's no way in hell I could truly sniff at the limits of an LMP1 or 2 car now.

Past life, e.g. 20 years ago, an Atlantic or even CART. Even if I killed myself trying to get to Indy............

Jump on in!
I'm in a similar boat in terms of how I feel. I raced Formula Mazdas over 12 years ago; the last wings/slicks car I got to drive was a Reynard/Mercedes CART car 11 years ago. Now in my 40's and starting to dabble into racing again, my skill level and "kahunas" are simply not where they were (not that they were necessarily at a very high level anyway...).

Nowadays, I would go for the vintage racing scene or a slower spec race series. A Lotus F Jr or B car is an option, but a Porsche or Ferrari factory race car is would be better. Unlimited budget? 250TR, 312, 917, 911GT1 or F310. More appropriate at this point? P Cup or F Challenge.
