No question, no doubt, no hesitation whatsoever. I could never hope to drive it anywhere near its limits, but this very car would be in my (huge) garage.
I've seen lots of cars, but nothing compares to this one for me. Note the greasy hands, which may have something to do with it...

Had a discussion with some of the local guys last weekend, so I thought I'd throw it out there. I'm going to go into the shop and work on an engine, and check back to see if this turns into a discussion.
So, for me, now at my advanced age (46) I'd say I'm only good enough for a lower end sports racer like IMSA Lites. Maybe (shudder the thought) a DP. But only because I know there's no way in hell I could truly sniff at the limits of an LMP1 or 2 car now.
Past life, e.g. 20 years ago, an Atlantic or even CART. Even if I killed myself trying to get to Indy............

).Nowadays, I would go for the vintage racing scene or a slower spec race series. A Lotus F Jr or B car is an option, but a Porsche or Ferrari factory race car is would be better. Unlimited budget? 250TR, 312, 917, 911GT1 or F310. More appropriate at this point? P Cup or F Challenge.
