For those that are following the birth of the series I would encourage you to call Ron and talk to him first hand. He's a racer, a Porsche lover and a great guy to hang with. He's fair and honest. I've known him for 25+ years. We've raced just about everything together. He's really fast at the Glen but he's smart enough to put a pro in the car to dial it in. For years Ron ran the Girrard car in HSR ( Historic Sportscar Racing) and won many times. He started as a wrench in IMSA and put together a Trans Am deal. He knows what he's doing under the car, driving a car and behind the scenes putting together the deal.

I've got no ties to Napleton Porsche nor this effort. I would love to run in the series but job and economics won't allow that. I'm just vouching for one of the best guys I'm ever met at a racetrack, whether he's in the car or helping you get in your car.

Best of luck Ron,

david

I didn't read all of the posts indepth so I might have missed it but what spring rates are you running up front?
To me it looks like the front is compressing itself a lot under the loads your putting on it.

Looks great; you need to post pictures when it's done!

For those interested, here are a couple of videos of the first Cayman Interseries races at Road Atlanta last week:

The cars were perfect, even during the 90 minute enduro in Atlanta heat!

That looks freaking sweet! Nice car.

If I had the cash I would love to run a Cayman series.... but that will have to wait for another time.

I had a good look at Rod Ryan's Lowenbrau car a few weeks ago. It had just been delivered, and looked terrific. Ron had a grin a mile wide all weekend, and was looking forward to the first race at RA!

BTW, what's up with that expensive AiM logger setup not producing data on the video??
