Why would a halo seat be a requirement for a right side net? A right-side net, from what I understand, actually does the job of a halo seat in a side hit in addition to providing additional protection in a more offset hit. Koni Challenge (and I assume Rolex) now requires right and left side head/shoulder nets in addition to a standard window net. Halo seats are a real pain in the **** IMO, especially if you're trying to do quick driver changes with HANS, helmet, etc. into and out of cars with the newer A-pillar gussets and support bars that are becoming the norm (and a FIA requirement for door openings of a certain size).
All of that said, if you are running a halo seat, I would definitely invest in a right side net. The halo works fine in a 90 degree crash, but you'll want the net to guide your head and shoulders back into the seat in a frontal offset crash rather than letting your head rebound outside of the halo as I've seen happen in crash test videos.

GREAT VIDEO!!
That was how I ran my car when it flipped at the Glen recently, right side net but with a Sparco Evo seat.
It worked great!! It's going in my next car but with a Recaro halo seat

awesome. thanks for sharing. You can really tell the difference between those who get paid to race someone else's car and those who wrench on their own cars. Some of the spaces those cars went into did not look near big enough!

That was aweseome! Thanks for posting that. Only problem, I have to watch it twice to see the whole video.
Nice to see the inside of the speed of cars we drive in a pro-battle.
What a GREAT track. Even though I havent been there, it looks like it puts the west coast tracks to shame. you have everything there! Great stuff!
I was bitting my tongue, but Im sorry, I have to ask after watching that great, very even battle.
Which would you want of two same HP to weight ratio cars at the Glen
Higher torque mustang or around 30% less torque BMW or porsche?

Great video! I was watching the race from down in the Boot and that explains a lot of what I didn't see. IMO Koni Challenge is one of the best road racing series in America. True GT/Street cars (not tube frame), no TC, good tires (Hoosiers), manuals, very low downforce, and great racing. Not to mention after the first half it turns into a truly pro race since the pay for your riders get out and the pros get in. It would be nice if it was promoted better, and not treated like a second rate series. I've always thought they should just call it Trans Am, since it is very reminisce of the early days.
