Race is gonna be awesome with the double-file restarts (if there are any)

Oh....I think there will be plenty

I really enjoy NASCAR, and the road course races are an interesting twist. Nice to see the drivers forced outside of their element in cars that are not ideally suited to the task. Some of the drivers are pretty good on the road courses...despite what some of the "heroes" on the internet claim.

Speed ruined the results of the F1 race for me by posting it on their homepage without a spoiler warning. ().

I was going to watch this racing anyway, but I think I'll skip F1. I would have said Ambrose for the win but starting from the back it's going to be hard, although I'll still be rooting for him. My best guess would be Kyle Busch, unless it turns into a fuel mileage race which would make it anyones guess.

For Monaco the results were on a ticker during a tennis match and it was spoiled for me. Major bummer.

I watched Stewart and Newman practice at VIR full a couple of weeks ago. They were no joke. Dead serious and wicked fast...

That's cool. I keep hearing they are practicing there. I wish I could go watch.

Enjoyable race. I like watching the different approach and techniques illustrated by the in car cameras, that showed the contrast of the Cup guys and the drivers with road racing backgrounds. Cup guys often going with left foot braking and trail braking, and road racers heel and toeing.

Some nice back and forth with Ambrose, Montoya, Stewart and Kahne. Pretty hairy during those late race double file restarts, make.ing for an exciting rac

I didn't know Infineon was going on this weekend.

Guess I missed the only Nascrap race I would have watched all year, too bad.

With all the different series they come up with, you think they'd develop a road course-only series....

I would have preferred less full-course yellows, but I guess that's just NASCAR for you. However, it really was a pretty entertaining race in my opinion. I wish they would run more road courses. The cars look a little goofy on a road course, but no doubt about it, those guys can definitely drive.

Kayne
Stewart
Ambrose

What's the prize anyway?

I also wish they had a few more road races. I know the cost is a factor, but once you have to build a road car I don't think the additional races are too bad an expense over a normal oval weekend???

And yes, there was some great driving on display. Those cars are a handful but they manage them well.

I agree it was a bit much...I do give them credit though...there was no "phantom debris" this time when you see headers and ducting on the track!!
