Looking for a very well prepared 944SuperCup car
Hey Guy's.
I'm researching my option's as I now have time on my side.
To retub my car to the high standard the car was, is a big chunk of money.
So I'm considering selling my car as is, to someone who has a tub and the ablilty to do the work.
This would leave me the opertunity to take my time and find a nicely built race car.
A stock E 944 Turbo seems like a good choice for the series.
Thx
Gary

Gary,
I've just started thinking of selling my (sort-of) former Kelly Moss IMSA Firehawk S2. I did the re-tub exercise a couple years ago and while it wasn't THAT much money, it was a huge hassle. (It was not one of the 7 cars built by the factory in '91)
I say "sort-of" because there's really not much left that actually ran in IMSA. The motor, transmission, shocks, springs, sways, etc have all been changed and obviously the tub was replaced. The cage is Chrome Moly and beautiful. It's currently set up to run in F class PCA as a Firehawk S2.
I haven't truly decided to sell or not. Racing is on hold for financial reasons for now and I'm thinking of perhaps returning with a Spec 944. I also just got a street car that is really fun to track at DE's. Price would be dependent on what was included. I have spare motor, transmission, 2 sets of Forgelines w/titanium fasteners, magnesium turbo cup wheels, 8" phone dials w/rain tires, etc etc.

absolutely Mark, how did you guess ROFL!!
Although he has been on my case for a while about them
It's mostly though our WF1 buddy who is also reading this LOL!.
I'm going to crew for him at a couple of races, that will be fun.
Although the real phrase at the moment rhymes with "clucking bell" ROFL!!

A good friend of mine in MA has one of those "rhymes w/luck" vehicles. He's been working on it for several years and it's almost ready to go to the track. It sure sounds like a lot more go for a lot less dough than our P-cars! I guess a deciding factor is who else you have to run with/against and with which groups.
