Cold and damp and misty - really sucky weather.
I did get to meet VR, though, who seems pretty normal in person (in sharp contrast to his Rennlist persona).
Tomorrow is supposed to be better though - cold, but not wet. Its the little things in life that make it worthwhile.
PS - VR didn't bring the wimmen. He's too busy coaching.

No doubt Thursday was much improved!!! I woke up to this by the ticket office...
On my short drive to the track I snapped these cool shots of the Esses...

I had a FANTASTIC time at the event, even with the bad weather yesterday. Bummer I had to head home early today and could not stay til the end. I had a chance to meet some new people and found everyone to be really great. No doubt the rain SUCKED on Wednesday, but that's how it goes some days. It was great to meet VR, Larry, Paolo and so many others that were great to chat car stuff with. Here are some more photos I got at the event. I didn't really have much time to take pics, but here is what I got...
Notice the ice I found on the windshield this morning

Very nice pics; thanks for posting them.
Today was great; dry and warmer, so we got in a bunch of runs. Afternoon got cloudy but only a few sprinkles.
Left at 4 PM, arrived home 6 hours later.
Ready for the next one, which can't come too soon for me.
Kudos to Van and Scott for their presentations.

Don, Van, Jim and I would like to thank everyone for joining us this year. We were happy to see so many new drivers along side some familiar faces. We would also like to thank Scott and Rick Canter for leading the track walk Wednesday night. Those who attended found it very informative, and picked up quite a few tips to improve their lap times.
I had a chance to get out and snap some shots Thursday morning. Feel free to download any photos you like. If you would like a hi res copy of any of the photos please email me the photo name under the image and I will email you a copy.

Despite the rain, it was a very enjoyable and well run event. Low key, but efficient and no incidents to speak of (except for the GT3 that rolled from it's parking spot into the fence ).
