Default WG race video - almost taken out at the start

This is the start to green sprint 2. I'm in P3 behind Bela on pole. I get a great jump on him at the start so I head to T1 thinking I've got a chance to pull the lead. Then out of the corner of my left eye I see a car coming right for me. You can see what happens next. If I didn't react, he would have collected me and I would have collected the field. He also forced Kris in the red car (P2) to go over the exit curb or he would have been taken out as well. Since i had to check up and go in the grass I got freight trained up the esses and never recovered.

Damn, Sean. This will have me go dig up my video as I should have this all from behind.

Btw, what the hell is that girl's car doing amongst all those manly 911s going up the esses?

Yeah, that was a real BS move. You had the inside, but at least you're not having to fix your car again. Good vision on your part.

From the look of 782's car, he's used that move before.

It was nasty, and I was the only one that didn't manage to sneak by you... that's what bothered me the most..

I believe #182 was Scott Gianneau (sp). It was damaged when he looped it in T10 after being frightened by a spinning car 100 feet away.

Wow...nice save though. I would definitely have a word or two for that guy after the race. I hope you seek him out at the next race and let him know what you think of it. MAYBE he didn't see you...that's no excuse because, where you were, he should have. Like I said, nice crash avoidance!
