Folks, there is a combined Viper Days/PBOC/BMW Club event (race & DE weekend) using the VIR full course the weekend of July 10-11, and I am the chief instructor for it (as well as doing some racer coaching).

This will be a very big event, and there is a high probability that it will be televised on Versus network, since it will be the racing debut of the Viper ACR-X and the Viper Cup races (with approximately $200,000 in prize money) that will feature it.

Some folks here have already expressed interest in instructing at this event, and I would like to reconfirm those folks as well as invite any other folks who can instruct VIR to contact me via PM with your email address ASAP.

Are the Viper races in their own race group or is it all together?

I believe there will be 2 race groups, perhaps 3, depending on turn out. Not sure yet whether the Viper groups will also include the faster PBOC/BMW CCA cars (based on qual times).

I would not have a problem with that, pending the schedule (don't want you late getting into a student vehicle due to delays getting out of a race car. So I will say yes for now....

No, but VR will put you into a Viper with a 17 year old driver anyway.
